John Tripoli, Managing Director of the Northwestern Mutual Upstate office, presented Northwestern Mutual’s Community Service Award with Clemson’s Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney to Steve Grant of Chris and Kelly’s HOPE Foundation during The Family Effect’s Transformation Breakfast. Since 1995, the Northwestern Mutual Foundation has donated more than $5.4 million to nonprofits through its Community Service Awards program.
Northwestern Mutual participated in the United Way's Hands on Greenville Day, which is an annual, city-wide day of volunteering. The Greenville office spent HOG Day helping with the Generous Garden Project at Thrive Upstate, which produces vegetables, plants, flowers, and trees to be used or sold in the Upstate of South Carolina.
Former SC Governor, Nikki Haley, showed her support at the Community Service Award presentation for the Gateway House, the premier mental health resource for Greenville. John Tripoli of Northwestern Mutual and the founder of Chris and Kelly’s HOPE Foundation presented the Community Service Award to Gateway House on behalf of the Northwestern Mutual Foundation.
